EXPERIENCE
I graduated with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. I served on the Children, Family Trauma Team at Family Service Agency of Marin. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, couples and families on a variety of issues including: parenting skills, academic difficulties, behavioral problems, transition to parenthood, anxiety, depression and relational difficulties.
I co-led a co-parenting skills class to support families in the process of divorce/separation and received certification in Parent Child Interaction Therapy, a family-centered treatment approach proven to help parents gain skills to improve their children’s compliance and enhance the parent/child relationship.
I've been a volunteer leader for anxiety support groups and teen process groups at various organizations. I have 8 years of experience in the Bay Area supporting families as a nanny and family assistant. Prior to moving to the Bay Area, I worked as an event coordinator in Kansas City, MO and an in-school behavioral aid for elementary school students.
